Examination and Promotion Rules

• It's mandatory all the students must collect Hall Ticket from the school office before appearing for the Terminal and Final Examination.
• Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year's performance (Class Tests, Projects, Unit Tests, Mock Tests and Terminal Examinations). A student who scores an average of 40% marks in every subject is given promotion.
• Consistent neglect of any subject will not be condoned. In view of the system of continued assessment of the student, and of the fact that year's average is taken for promotion, the result declared at the end of the year is final and cannot be reconsidered.
• In all matters of promotion or failure the Principal's decision is final. Answer scripts of the Final Examination shall not be shown.
• Absence in the examination will be treated as having received no marks in it.
• Absence or failure in any subject excludes a student from being reckoned in the order of merit in the examination.
• Under no circumstance, will an examination be taken either before or after the scheduled time.
• A student may be exempted on medical ground from one periodical test only. Appearing in the Final Examination is must for promotion.
• A student who uses unfair means and receives or gives assistance in any form during Tests/Examination shall be given zero in the subject. Repetition of the same will result in dismissal.
• Parents/guardians are requested to examine the Marks Record of their wards and return it duly signed to the Class Teacher within two days. Signature found in the Marks Record should be identical with the specimen signature found in the diary.
• As per the directive of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, 75% of attendance at the end of the session is compulsory for promotion to the higher class.
