Leave / Absence Regulations
- When a student is unable to attend the class a leave application must be sent to the principal given the reason for his/her absence.
- Medical leave application should be accompanied by a medical certificate.
- A student returning to school after suffering from an infection or contagious disease should produce a fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
- Except in the case of unforeseen illness, no leave should be taken without prior sanction from the school authorities.
- If a student continues to be absent for a month without any intimation to the principal of the school, her/his name will be struck off from the school rolls and readmission if granted will be done on payment of the usual entrance fee.
- Non-attendance on the first day of school after any vacation is considered is a serious breach of discipline. The name of those students who do not report within three days of the reopening will be removed from the rolls. Attendance, adding up to a minimum of 75% of the total number of working days, is compulsory for students.
